Ah nostalgia, that takes me back. Failed photographers? Cawl is Wales' national dish.
Sunday, 31 October 2010
I have a few questions that have troubled me for a while... Nostalgia: How long's that been around? Who photographs kebabs? What is the national dish of Wales?

What are your biggest fears?
Heights I would say, being forever alone maybe creeping up there too.

Were you a Simple Plan fan back in the day? XD
I don't think I've ever listened to them really, I must thank you for all the questions you're asking me, I do appreciate them.

How old were you the last time you went trick or treating?
I've never been trick or treating :/

Do you think Webber tried to take out his rival after his accident?
I assume you meant his crash in Korea? If so then no, Rosberg was never a threat for the championship, for all we know Webber could have had a lapse of concentration after the accident while realising his championship fight was hindered and not concentrating on where his car was going.

Am I entitled to be outraged if I feel that my taxes are paying for BS stuff, now that I actually pay tax???
Probably yes, you voted in the government (assuming you're of voting age) and if they are spending your tax money on things you don't feel they should be then I feel you have a right to make your views heard.

What's your favorite thing to do when it's cold?
Well be warm for one thing! Otherwise it depends on the situation and the company I'm around.

Have you picked out your Halloween costume yet? :D What are you dressing up as?
I haven't actually, I'm not sure what I would dress as. I mean I know of things I would want to go as but I don't possess the neccessary outfits unfortunately =[

Do you believe in the ghost in the machine?
Admittedly I had to look this up as I don't really know what you're referring to, but from what I've seen you're asking me if I believe in deep primal instincts being able to overcome advanced logic in the mind? If so then yeah I guess so.

Who will be F1 World Champion? Drivers and Constructors?
With some consistent results in the last 3 races I'll probably go for Mark Webber and Red Bull Racing.

would you pick snoopy or garfield?
I've seen more Garfield over the years than Snoopy, besides Snoopy doesn't need me as he has his little friend Woodstock to keep him company.

In your opinion, what is the worst way to die?
Well off the top of my head burning to death or drowning don't sound too pleasant, nor does any death in all honesty. Perhaps dying alone with no-one to remember you is a bad way to die in a sense. I try not to think about the subject.

Is there a band you enjoy listening to more during the cold seasons?
I listen generally to whatever I feel like at the time, but seeing as Christmas is within the cold season I let myself listen to any Christmas songs in my itunes around that time.

No attitude intended kind Sir. 600mil years ago a day on Earth was just under 21hrs. Your powers of guestimation are amazing!
That's alright, I'm interested that you know that, I figured the Earth must have slower rotation that it did from when it was formed so I'm glad my intuition payed off!
Posted by Unknown at 16:02 0 comments
How long was it on Earth? Why would I care about any other planet?
Well you didn't say it was on Earth so you could be referring to anywhere in the universe for all I know, as for Earth it's quite likely a day 600million years ago was just under how long a day is today. Spare me the attitude next time you ask a question.

How long was a day 600million years ago?
How long was a day where? Our day is the time it takes for the Earth to rotate 360degrees on its axis but on other planets their rotational speeds are different, for example Jupiter's day is 9.9 hours long.

What is the Universe Expanding into?
One of the theories mentioned in the Horizon program I mentioned in a previous question is that the universe is expanding behind a wave of "inflation" which provides the universe the power to expand, as to what provides that "inflation" physicists have yet to find out.

Has Multiculturalism failed?
A lot of "has *soandso* failed" questions coming in, as far as I know it's working alright. In my university for example there are people from places all over the world and they get along fine, on a national scale though it's just a minority of people that are against multiculturalism that are making it not work as well as it could.

Does restorative justice work?
I can't say for sure, there's no concrete way to stop offenders re-offending bar the death penalty but that's a bit extreme. Prisons are overcrowded in some places so if restorative justice is a viable alternative then I guess it does work.

UH... i can see that you can't explain it... "2 planes of the 4th Dimension"? *shudder* ;p Imagine The universe is a plane or 'brane' (membrane) and two universes are separated by the 4th Dimension. though I'm more convinced by the Black Hole theory.
Words are never my strong point so yeah don't beat me over the head with it. You managed to explain it better than me, I was intrigued by all the theories bar the string theory, for some reason I don't quite feel convinced by it.

What happened before the Big Bang?
That's a good question, I watched a Horizon programme on the subject recently and several theories were featured. One being that the Big Band is the result of two planes of the fourth dimension making contact, another being it's the result of some unknown reverse gravity force forcing the universe back out in an explosion after previously being crushed to a singularity. Look it up on iplayer as I can't explain it too well.

nono... It's Uganda. Kenya rises to power on the export of rhinos. A central African power block is formed, colonising north Africa and Europe. When war breaks out, no one can afford the luxury of rhinos. Kenya withers, Uganda triumphs.
Surreal anon is surreal.
Posted by Unknown at 17:26 0 comments
In a world where rhinos are domesticated pets, who wins the Second World War?
Well seeing as weapons such as machine guns and the use of spitfires and other military vehicles are a more effective means of fighting a war than rhino's I'd say the outcome would be the same as it was in real life, but with more rhinos.

What's your perspective on religion?
In general? I think it can provide people with something to drive them when things seem bad for them which is a good thing, but it has been the cause of some wars in the past which obviously isn't a good thing. I do wonder what life would be like if there was no such thing as religion.

Well on a side note I've never had a proper girlfriend before, but no I haven't and I hope I never will.

If you could spend the weekend with a celebrity, who would it be and why?
I'd say either Stephen Fry, just to have an insight into his life, or Karen Gillan because she is beautiful talented actress and it would be an immense pleasure to spend time with her.

What's your favorite song at the moment?
The same as it always is, Coldplay- The Scientist :)

What's your favorite childhood memory? :)
I can't really pin down any favourite memory in particular, I suppose winning a progress award in secondary school was quite a good moment in my life, but I don't know why I struggle to think of any other moments :/

Who is going to be the 2010 F1 Champion, in your opinion?
Putting aside who I want to be the champion (Mclaren), at the rate Alonso is scoring points relative to the other drivers he seems very likely to be champion. The following circuits on the calendar suit the Red Bull cars best, I'd put forward Webber rather than Vettel to be the most likely of the two to win, Vettel's not as headstrong.

Who said this?: "You know the Germans always make good stuff."
Offer "Vince" Shlomi.

Do you believe fear is the heart of love?
I find it very hard personally to portray my feelings on love, but I can understand an element of fear is involved. But it's a good argument to put forward that true love isn't about fear, you'd sooner want to spend every moment of your live with your other half than be afraid of being alone.

Are Slim Jims any good? I'm a Brit so I don't know what they are.

What natural disasters happen where you live?
Well the worst I can expect is a bit of bad flooding in all honesty, or a bit of strong wind. The last "natural disaster" that happened in the UK as far as I can remember, aside from any floods, was a mini tornado in Birmingham a few years ago.
